Orison Books Releases the Winners in Fiction, Poetry, Non-Fiction and Other Categories

Orison Books released the list of awardees in the fiction, poetry, non-fiction, the 2019 Orison Anthology, and the 2019 Orison Chapbook categories.

Molly Bess Rector wins in the poetry category for “Susurrus”. She wins a cash award of $500 and publication in The Orison Anthology (2020).

Heather Altfeld wins the 2019 Orison Poetry Prize for “Post-Mortem”. She receives a cash prize of $1,500 and publication of her anthology by Orison Books.

Rebecca Morgan Frank wins in the fiction category for “Our Lady of the Rock”. She wins a cash award of $500 and publication in The Orison Anthology (2020).

Siamak Vossoughi is the winner in the fiction category for “A Sense of the Whole”. He wins a cash award of $1,500 and publication of his story anthology by Orison Books.

Brooke Sahni wins the Orison Chapbook Prize for the poetry anthology “Divining”. She receives a cash award of $300 and publication by Orison Books.

Karen Salyer McElmurray wins The 2019 Orison Anthology Award in Nonfiction for her essay “Blue Glass”. She receives a cash award of $500 and publication in The Orison Anthology (2020).
