Pain: A Portal to Enlightenment by Shweta Singh Kirti

No human is unacquainted with the concept of pain. It is an inescapable universal experience. Shweta Kirti’s pain has been, unfortunately, very public because of the death of her thirty-four-year-old brother, the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whose death created a wave of sentiment in the country.

What she learnt, however, is that while pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. It is pain that can teach us how to rise above suffering and the limits we create for ourselves with our attachment to material goals like money, fame, success and relationships. In this book, Shweta shares her learnings so that no one is alone on this hard but necessary odyssey. Personal and powerful, this book examines pain as a path to spiritual awakening.

Synthesizing science, spirituality and philosophy, Pain: A Portal to Enlightenment is an invitation to embark on a transformative journey to find Inner peace and fulfilment no matter what life throws at you.

The author is extremely qualified to speak on the subject. Shweta has been on the spiritual path of self-discovery for over fifteen years. She has studied with masters in India at the foothills of the Himalayas and her spiritual master lives in Manhattan. She has consistently engaged in rigorous study and practice of the ancient sciences as a matter of discipline for years.

We’d love for you to plan interviews, reviews, excerpts, and features. In case you’d like to invite Shweta for a physical talk or an in-person conversation, she is travelling to India from the US in January 2024. We can plan a segment.
